 Pizza Dough

an likes an extra thick crust so here it is:

1 1/8 tsp. yeast
3/8 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp water
(Proof yeast now)

1 1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
3/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup + 1 tsp of milk powder
4 1/2 cups flour
4 1/2 monkey butts (if you can't find them you can substitute with cat butts)

I use a breadmaker and put the yeast mixture in to proof first, then I add the rest of the ingredients and just start the bread maker. If you were mixing this by hand you would want to knead it and let it rest and knead it again, let it rest and then form it into it's pizza pie shape.

I bake mine on a pizza stone for 25 minutes at 425 degrees.

If you like a medium crust try:

3/4 tsp yeast
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp water
begin proofing yeast now

1 cup of water
1 tbsp and 1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
3/8 cup milk powder
3 cups of flour
1 monkey's butt

Same instructions as last time, may need less time in the oven, but I usually still cook it hot at 425 (we really like the crust crispy on the edges.
